Rebecca Greenhalgh

ROLE: Finance Officer and Higher Level Teaching Assistant.

I started work for SESKU Academy in 2010 on the Future Jobs Fund scheme, working as a youth worker as well as delivering sports to primary schools in the Wakefield District area. I have Played football from the age of 6 as well as joining other sports teams at school and college. This has given me the knowledge to make a difference to young peoples lives through the delivery of sports provision. I have previous experience of community work through volunteering at a community centre in Hemsworth in 2008. I have also worked for Wakefield Council in 2009 on administration but felt my passion was in sports and working with young people. I am grateful SESKU Academy gave me this opportunity to make a difference”.  SESKU has now given me the opportunity to work as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant for Wakefield Councils Pupil Referral Units.
