ROLE:  Youth Worker and Education Mentor

“Being a young mum I see as good as anyone the benefits SESKU Academy is providing for children and young people. I was unemployed since leaving college in 2009 for over 1 year and I was  NEET myself. At the time I felt so lost and although I had a Level 1 qualification in child care I could not find a job anywhere. I started working for SESKU Academy in 2010 on the Future Jobs Fund scheme and I have never looked back. SESKU Academy has supported me throughout my time there by providing me with courses and responsibility to help better myself. I would like to say thank you to SESKU and I am grateful they believed in me and gave me a chance as a young person”.
