Adam

ROLE: Senior Manager

“I have worked as a youth worker throughout the Wakefield District since 2005. I have experience in delivering sports, accredited training and informal education programmes. I have worked with primary aged and secondary aged  young people and young people not in employment or training (NEET). Our vision at SESKU is special and we will strive to fulfill our mission statement and make positive changes to our community and support and develop our young people into a future they deserve. But most of all we want to give them the opportunities we didn’t have”.

“I have lived in the SESKU area all my life and during this time I have seen the area suffer considerably from the closure of the coal mines, lack of young peoples services/projects and under developed facilities within the community. SESKU Academy has helped the wider community by building centres for positive engagement whilst supporting other community groups to establish themselves. We have provided projects that make a difference to peoples lives such as new activities, education and employment opportunities that empower people to make a difference. I want to thank all our stakeholders including, Funders, Partners, Beneficiaries and Volunteers  who believed in our project and supported our journey to change the SESKU community”.  “I am proud to lead an organisation that has changed the face of SESKU Community and enriched so many lives”.
